If your response to any of these questions is no, or you aren’t sure, than our independent third-party Supplier Auditing service is just what you need to get those answers. Generally speaking, the success of an organization often depends heavily on how well their suppliers perform. If everything goes well, the end result can translate into substantial cost savings all around and increased customer satisfaction. But if your suppliers do not have the capability to meet all of the contractual obligations, the results can be devastating both to your organization’s reputation/brand name and your customer’s confidence in your ability to successfully handle future contracts. Many organizations are now taking the proactive approach of having FSQA Consulting Ltd. conduct third party audits on their suppliers to verify that they have the capability to meet the contractual requirements while maintaining compliance to all quality and regulatory requirements and to avoid any unexpected problems in the future. 

To ensure a smooth and successful audit of each supplier, FSQA will plan and schedule all of the audits that you assign to us. As part of the preparation phase, we will also develop the system audit checklists required based on your existing contract(s) with each of the suppliers and include any specific requirements that are to be met by the suppliers’ organization.

The actual audit will be conducted at the supplier’s facility and will involve five (5) primary stages:

1. Pre-audit dialogue;
2. Documentation review;
3. Information gathering (collecting evidence);
4. Documenting observations (compliance/effectiveness evaluation); and
5. Post-Audit dialogue.

During the information gathering stage, our auditors objectives are to verify that:
• The supplier’s quality system conforms to the applicable standards;
• The supplier satisfies all contractual and regulatory requirements; and
• The supplier has the capability to successfully complete the work awarded.

After the post-audit meeting, a written evaluation report will be produced by our auditors and issued to your organization. The main thrust of this report will be focused on identifying:
• If the supplier’s quality system meets all of the contractual requirements;
• Any lack of progress towards quality objectives defined;
• The adequacy and effectiveness of the process or functions audited; and
• Recommendations for improvement. 

In addition to the above service, we can also provide your organization with on-site Auditor Training. Our two-day course is targeted to employees who will be conducting internal or external quality audits and will provide them with sufficient knowledge and practical techniques to successfully prepare, conduct and document a quality audit in compliance with the applicable standards.
